ポストコロナ時においてマスクは生活に欠かせないものになることが想定されますが、そうした中で飲食時やホテル滞在時、家などでのマスクの理想的な置き方はまだ定着しておらず、このマスクスタンドは必要最小限のスペースを利用し、縦に細長いスタンドで合理的にマスクを保管し、同時に空間の美観を損なわない新しいタイポロジーとしてのプロダクトをデザインしました。
イタリア語でウェイターを意味するこのマスクスタンドは、アルミ製の二つのパーツを木やアクリルで繋いだ外観、またカトラリーや食器などに用いられるシンプルで柔らかいラインをこの構成に借りてくることにより、食卓での視覚的な調和が良く、あたかもすでにそうしたものがあったかのような違和感の無さを追求。
レストランで、ホテルの客室で、自宅の玄関で、様々なシーンに置いて使っていただくこれからの時代の新しいアイテムとしてのマスクスタンドを考案しました。

Masks become indispensable to daily life during post-Corona. But the ideal way to put
it when eating, drinking, staying at the hotel, or when back at home, has not yet
been established. This mask stand uses the minimum required space, and stores the mask in a vertically elongated way which is rational. At the same time, we designed it as a new typology of product that does not spoil the aesthetics of the space.
This mask stand, which’s names means waiter in Italian, has the appearance of two aluminum parts connected by wood or acrylic. And by borrowing the simple and soft lines which usually uses for cutlery and tableware, makes the visual harmony on the dining table, and we pursue a sense of no incongruity as if it was already there before.
We have devised a mask stand as a new item for the coming era, which can be used in various scenes such as restaurants, hotel rooms, and at the entrance of your home.
